Photo Walking Club (Bluebells and Spring Flowers)

12th May 2014
A bite size introduction to a new aspect of our camera settings. We were fired up and ready to trial the challenging technique. Blessed today with typical Scottish Spring weather (rain) we made for the woodlands. From the shelter of the tree-lined paths we delighted in the rain-washed sparkling green and copper leaves around us. While some plants hid their heads from the downpour, others seemed to stretch upwards giving us a chance to photograph the stunning whites of the wild garlic and May blossom, the vivid hues of the bluebells, the eye-catching yellows of poppies and buttercups and the bright pink of the red campion. Even the feathers of the ducks shone through as they swam among the reeds.
